One certain thing about inflatable stand up paddle boards is that they absolutely have so much to offer. Based on my experience, owning an iSUP board means that you can go for different activities using the very same board. Also, inflatable stand-up paddle boards like the ones presented to us by Atoll are strong and durable to a point where you’d think that they are authentic and not inflated.
Atoll Inflatable Stand Up Paddle Board
Add to that the amazing fact that they’re extremely portable and practical; they can easily be taken anywhere with minimum amount of worrying about how to pack them or store them, so let’s get to work.
The iSUP we have here is the Atoll 11 feet inflatable SUP board. It’s 32 inches wide and 6 inches thick; it’s an ideal size for almost everyone especially if you’re not into huge boards. It is also suitable for all different activities be it a calm easy going one, or an extreme one. Looking at the Atoll’s design you can clearly notice that it’s a very sleek one that reflects the minuteness with which it was made.
Such design is not random at all; the 6 inches thickness is there to support 250 lbs without having to deal with a board that or dives into the water. Also, the fact that its body is made of ultra-light material and is fully wrapped with a second PVC layer on the top and bottom make it almost impossible to bend or flex. Add to that the nose rocker that’ll make knifing through the water easier and smoother than ever. It’s not the fastest board to be honest but it does a great job in flat water as it is extremely stable and can take some serious beating.
I don’t feel that I have to make any comments about the Atoll’s looks because it’s obviously lit; the white/black EVA deck pad looks awesome on the dark green board. Not only that; this pad will prevent your feet from slipping off the board, it will boost your balance while paddling and will guarantee you a comfortable ride the whole way.
Speaking of which, 3 carry handles are featured on the Atoll; they’re comfortable to use and they come really handy when you need help to carry the inflated board around.
Moreover, this board is featured with 14 D-rings on the deck to tie down anything you need; 6 D-rings are on the front and are connected with a bungee cord while the other 8 D-rings are distributed on the sides of the board and are meant to attach a kayak seat, a backrest or anything else to them.
Further, the great news about this inflatable stand up paddle board is that it comes in a complete all-inclusive package which will save you the trouble of looking for the items you need separately. You’ll find a 3-piece aluminum paddle with nylon blade that you can adjust to fit your height. Also, a high pressure Bravo dual action is included; it’ll be your right hand for those times where you need your board inflated and ready anywhere you go. Speaking of which, you can pump the Atoll up to 15 PSI and it’s enough to make it hard and stiff to stimulate an authentic board.
Now, every board must have at least one fin to support its balance and make sure the board can adapt to different water conditions. Well, the Atoll has 3 fins; one is large, removable and central, while the other 2 are smaller and fixed to the board. You can absolutely sense the difference once you attach the fin to the board; it feels lighter.
The last item on this package is the carry backpack; it looks great to say the truth, and it’ll allow you to pack the board along with the other items easily all at once. Not only that; this bag will make sure that enough air gets to the rolled up board to keep it dry and free from moisture.
Finally, if you are looking for one last hint to make you decide on the Atoll, you’ll be glad to know that this iSUP comes with 2 years warranty which will have your back. I always feel safer when a product has such warranty because it means that the company trusts what they make and wants to please their customers and earn their trust.

I am an athletic 5’6″ 135# female and will be wanting to SUP in rivers and lakes and occasionally a quieter ocean environment. Sometimes I may do a 2-3 day trip down a river with it. There are so many SUP choices, I wonder if you would have a recommendation for me? I am considering the Isle Explorer 11′ and the Atoll 11′. Or, if you have a strong sway on a different one, I would love some feedback. Thank you!
Hey Lisa,
Both of these paddle boards are solid picks. They’re very well-made and are designed to perform. Atoll 11′ iSUP is a bit expensive than the the Isle Explorer 11′. Personally, I like the design of the Atoll. So, if you don’t mind shelling out a few more bucks, opt for Atoll.
