Stand up paddle boarding is one of the best friendly sports that seem to combine fun, recreation, and workout. The range of activities you can try with this water sport is wide enough to keep you away from boredom especially if you are willing to give it your best and commit to learning how to perfectly ride and manoeuvre your board.
One of the best activities you can go for using an inflatable stand up paddle board is racing, and with a board like this one I guarantee that you won’t be disappointed nor get enough of what it has to offer. The first thing I’d like to mention is that this SUP comes in an all-inclusive package which makes of it a great summer purchase.

The FlexRace is the fastest board made by SupFlex; it is 12.6 feet tall, 30 inches wide and 6 inches thick. It has all the features demanded for a good racing SUP board starting with its body shape; you can notice the sharp and pointy nose which is perfect for smoother and faster gliding. Also, the first thing that came to my mind when I saw the FlexRace was that it looks like a hard board; the details are finely made with professional finishing.
The back of the board is my favorite part. You won’t believe how great it feels to stand on that EVA deck pad; it’s soft, comfortable and extremely functional which will guarantee you balance, stability while paddling and comfort. Mention not the beautiful and sharp design given to it; it’s simple but fancy and it reminded me of the ocean’s depth to be honest (I really don’t mean to be cheesy; it’s just how I find it).
Moreover, you are going to love the fact that this board isn’t only meant for racing; you can easily and comfortably use it for long distance touring or recreational paddling since it’ll provide you with maximum stability and rigidity. Speaking of which; the FlexRace is made of a double military-grade layer PVC and reinforced composite drop-stitch core inside which makes a durable and a resistant SUP board out it. Add to that the stiffness of its structure once fully inflated; you seriously wouldn’t be able to easily bend this board or make it flex.
Now, to inflate the FlexRace you’ll find included a high pressure double action hand pump with gauge which will pump air on both the push down and pull up of the handle, that way, it’ll take less time to be easily inflated up to 15 psi if needed because 12 psi is enough to make it stiffer and more rigid than expected which reminds me to mention that this board can take up to 400 lbs; you can only imagine how sturdy it is. It’s literally made to impress.
Further, a top notch quality 3-pieces adjustable aluminum paddle is part of the package; it breaks down easily to be practically packed, as it is so comfortable since it’ll fit any rider’s height. In addition to that, a safety leash is featured with the FlexRace which is a very nice add especially for a fast SUP that is meant for racing; no chance it’ll float away from you. You’ll find a D-ring on the board’s tail to attach the leash.
Another important aspect of an iSUP board performance is the fins; if they’re well-made; you’re going to experience the smoothest water tracking ever. The FlexRace comes with one large central removable fin that does pretty good allowing the board the pick up speed quickly. Yet, and personally speaking, a great SUP like this one requires a sharper fin which will boost its performance.
Finally, the FlexRace will be delivered to you along with the usual great backpack by the SupFlex. It’s extremely functional since you’ll be able to fit the deflated board and accessories in it, as it also looks good. One of the best things about iSUP boards is that they allow you to easily pack, transport and store a big guy of 12.6 feet like the FlexRace in one backpack; it’s something that won’t be possible with a hard board.
Actually, the best thing about a SUP like the FlexRace is the 2 years warranty provided by the company. I liked to keep this piece of information till the end of this review because it’s great thing to finish with.
